In Munich’s Sendling-Westpark district, at the corner of Passauerstraße and Gottfried-Böhm-Ring, construction of a new four-form-entry primary school was completed successfully and on schedule in August 2026. The project was commissioned by the City of Munich through its Building Department (Baureferat) and designed by bof architekten. The total floor area exceeds 9800 m²: around 7705 m² for the above-ground school building and around 2140 m² for the sports facilities. The five-storey, L-shaped building comprises four learning clusters and is designed as an all-day school for up to 400 pupils. Its two wings shield the schoolyard from the traffic noise of Passauerstraße and Heckenstallerstraße. The complex also includes two sports halls, sunk halfway into the ground and open to local sports clubs as well, and an underground car park. An additional all-weather multi-use pitch sits on the roof of the sports halls. The school opens at the start of the 2026/27 school year, giving this growing district modern facilities for teaching, all-day care and sport.
Location: Gottfried-Böhm-Ring 2, 81369 Munich, Germany
